Since I know there are a few of you that read just to get my tips (you know that I am crazy and research everything) so here is the evolution of our potty training seats.
At first we had this Prince Lionheart seat, and we loved it. Simple, easy to clean, comfy, and pink:
We also had this Bjorn Smart Potty that we used a few times when traveling. (mostly to the park with no bathrooms)
But we have been potty trained for 8 months now and she was not interested in her potty seats anymore. She wanted to use the big potty, but was still too small and had to hold her self awkwardly over the big potty seat. Enter this thing:
The BEMIS NextStep seat from Home Depot, available in regular and elongated
We replaced the guest toilet seat and lid with this one. The small seat flips down to make the seat kid sized, and flips up (with a magnetic latch to keep it from falling down) for guests. It fits her perfectly, I no longer have to move a potty seat around, and it is super sturdy. Highly recommend it!
