Last night I came to the realization that I am too busy. While I have known this for quite some time, last night was the point where it was finally too much for me. After my commute home from work took 1.25 hours, I rushed to eat dinner and spent the next 3 hours working on paintings. My house is a mess. I have countless unfinished projects of my own piling up around the house and filling the garage. I haven't worked out in who knows how long. I am a hot mess.
I have a limited number of things that I can de-commit to. And last night I decided that I need to take a break from paintings. When I started this blog I had no idea what would happen and the results have far exceeded my expectations. For that I am grateful. But I also need to make myself, my life and The Husband more of a priority.
Don't worry, I did not have a dramatic breakdown or anything. I just need more time for other things. I am going to finish up all current and pending orders, and that will take my through the end of February. After that, who knows. I will continue to periodically post things, hopefully that will include more of my own personal projects.
