Pink and green has been a popular color combo lately. Preppy and sweet, its an unexpected pair that works surprisingly well. So when Holly in Hilton Head contacted me to add some jazz to her pink and green space I was excited to see what we could come up with. She has white and antique white furniture, with pink walls and green accents around the room. She wanted something sweet and soft and after a few emails back and forth decided on a flower and bird theme over owls and trees. Here is the primary space she wanted something to fill:
She knew she wanted a name canvas for over the crib, but was open to other ideas. Her space is big, and instead of one big canvas (that is expensive to ship) we went with a center canvas with a pair on the outside. I used a primarily soft palette with a few pops of pink to tie in with another piece of art she already had:
For the space above the changing table, we decided on a cherry blossom theme. Before landing in Hilton Head, Mom & Dad lived in DC and wanted something that would remind them of the beautiful blossoms they had there:
I used the same bird from the name picture to tie the two pieces together. I can't wait to see pictures of it in the room!
