Graphic Painted Nursery Walls

As you all know, I did a graphic painted accent wall in my nursery that was inspired by KFD Designs:

Cheaper than wall paper, a graphic painted wall or room makes a huge design impact.  They are fun and fairly easy to do if you are crafty and creative.  There are tons of tutorials out there on the web about how to complete these designs, so be sure to google them for tips before you start!  Here are some of the ways you can paint your wall:

Striped Nursery Walls - vertical or horizontal, wide or narrow, use them as a starting point or pull the colors from existing elements in the room

Towering Trees - add a soothing touch of nature with a tree motif.  If you aren't up for painting them, try a decal from etsy.com to get the same look!

Abstract Scene - have a favorite place?  Incorporate it into your wall design.  Maps, gears, robots and other designs go abstract and add a one-of-a-kind look to your walls.  These details designs are not for beginners and may require the use of a projector to get the proportions just right.

Preppy Argyle Wall - still a favorite of preppy parents everywhere!

Damask Print - the design below my be wallpaper, but you can get the same look with a damask stencil.  Since this design is more labor intensive, I suggest doing just one wall to save time and energy!
