Pink and orange makes me think of Lily Pulitzer and Palm Beach. While they are not necessarily colors I would wear together, they do look surprisingly fresh and cool in a room. Paired with white and done in graphic prints with a retro twist, they are perfect for a hip little girl's room.
Couple of keys to making this combo work:
-bold, graphic patterns
-mixing in white
-retro touches
-mixing shades different shades of pink with the orange is ok!

Last but not least, this pale pink mixes perfectly with the orange headboards. Mixing white in with these 2 colors is definitely the way to go!
