Confession Friday

1.  I freakin' love consignment and resale shopping.  I think my love of bargains + my small size is what makes me such a fan.  I can shop a variety of brands all in my size all in one place plus it is cheap.  I scores a new Express shirt and Gap jeans + a scarf this week for a total of $40.

I often find myself looking down at my outfit and realizing that at least have was from a consignment store or ebay.  And I recently discovered Poshmark, which I am kind of loving although I find the search feature to be hard to use.

2.  I eat way too many carbs and I can't seem to stop.  I have gotten better, I don't really eat big bowls of pasta or mashed potatoes anymore, but all my snacks seem to be really carb heavy.

3.  I sometimes with more of my friends lived near us.  Most of them are a few hours away and one of my good friends here is moving this Summer.  It would be nice to have a group of girls to go to dinner with during the week, or more couple friends with kids that we could have casual BBQs with.  Maybe when H starts real school we will make more parent friends in the area?

4.  Lately I have been worried that H is turning into a mean girl.  She shares well and is sweet to her friends, but she has moments where she yells "NO!" at us or says we can't play with her or doesn't want her Dad to come to the park with us and tells him he can't go.  I think she is more bossy than mean, but I don't know how to stop her?  Is it normal 2 year old behavior??

5.  We are off the the beach today!  Not excited for the road trip part, but I am excited for a little sun, sand and friends.  Oh, and some cocktails!

My little Charlie will be 3 in July. Last time I visited, Charlie was on a "being mean to Daddy" kick. He didn't want anything to do with his Daddy (whom he ADORES). He will also tell me "Nana, don't look at me" and then in the next breath, ask me to play with him. So, yes, I think it's a very normal phase.
