Modern Baby Girl Nursery Ideas

Modern baby girls spaces are a little more challenging that modern baby boy rooms.  Boyish design lends itself well to clean lines, modern furniture and gray walls.  But if you are into a more sleek design style, it is possible to add pops of color and girly twists.

Check out these modern baby girl rooms for some design ideas:

Speaking of modern nurseries, lately I have been co-hostessing quite a few baby showers, and instead of going with a cutesy baby shower theme, we have opted to base our decor around the Momma-to-be's nursery design.  I am usually in charge of shower decor, and I try to buy and make things that could be used again in the baby's room.  The website partypail.com has some really cute decor choices for modern showers, including this Wild Blue Safari theme and this Ocean Preppy theme.  It would be perfect for all the nautical theme birthday parties I have seen on Pinterest lately!

Thank you for those inspiring baby nursery ideas. I love the top one in blue with geometric shapes.
