I posted this picture on my blog a few months ago:
I love the paint treatment and the picture ledge at the top - and so did one of my readers. She emailed me to get some ideas for artwork and told me that my blog inspired her design! It makes me so happy to know that people really read this little project and actually get design ideas from me!
She wanted a classic argyle design with a monogram in the center. I did this one on a large 24x24" thick canvas and it turned out so classy:
I also attempted to take a better picture and staged the painting on this vintage trunk. I love the trunk but I haven't found a place to put it in my house yet......
